Utilizing the secrets of optin lists..

Emails are replacing regular mails from the post office. Not only because it is cheaper, since you do not need to buy a stamp, it’s also definitely faster. Emails can be sent in as fast as five seconds, depending on the server, anywhere in the world.

No doubt emails are being used to distribute news letters, promotional mails, and other stuff. How then would you be able to round up email addresses to send those marketing mails you have? Here is where an opt-in list comes in.

An opt-in list is a directory of email address you can send to those mails to. Though it seems to be easy to find email addresses, if you are talking thousands in numbers, it is going to be hard. Besides, you have to determine the recipient of the email. You wouldn’t want your readers mostly male if you are selling lipsticks, right?

A good opt-in list should include the profile of the email address owner. Here are tips on how to create a comprehensive opt-in list for target market.

Create your website.
Creating a website is made simple nowadays. A lot of programs are milling about assisting regular computer users in making and maintaining websites in a real simple way. Some website creator just needs you to cut and paste, like that of a regular paint program. Several web hosting sites are available too. Some are even free. If you have a site of your own, you can ask visitors to register with you or sign your guest book as they leave.

Set up a promotion or a freebie.
Not all the best things in life are free, as they say. But you can definitely try to give something out for sure. You can see this done all over the web. Free screensavers, free games, free download of programs. And what do they need from you? They just ask for an email address, your name and a little something more about you. Then you can place a check box on the registration form for sending of email. For sure, you can think of something to give out as well.

Write and write some more.
There are some web magazines where in readers can submit their writings for a particular topic. If you had a chance to do so, add a link to your article providing information about what you are trying to promote. Some readers of your article may enjoy your work so much they’d like to contact you, so don’t forget to leave your email address too.

Pose an easy opt-out option.
People who like to join your opt-in list would, along the way may want to opt out of it somehow. People who are wary of joining may not join at all if they see that it would be near impossible to remove their email address from the listing. Show them that it is as easy to opt-out as it is opting in.

Check other’s strategy too.
It would be better if you can find a partner in generating an opt-in list. This way, you can split the expenses and both of you can share the list generated. It will be best to partner with a company that has a business similar to your own line. Both of you can profit more should that be the case.

Use offline ways too.
You can put up a small raffle preferably in a supermarket for a certain item they buy. You can place an email address opt-in part in the raffle entry to add to your list. This way, you’d also know the buying preferences of the participants if you mark the entries systemically.

Creating an opt-in list entails a lot of work and funds. You should outline how much you will spend in creating an opt-in list. People appearing at opt-in lists are sales prospects. They are those interested in a certain product that you may be selling. Obtaining an optimal opt-in list would boost your sales up so these tools are undoubtedly essential.

Acquire an opt-in list now or generate one. Either way, you are reaching to people that can be one of your treasured customers for a long period time.

That´s it for today my friends!

Success: You Can Do It!

One thing that stands in the way of success is your ability to believe in yourself. We’ve touched on this in the attitude sections, but there’s more to it than just having a positive attitude. You must believe in yourself.

“So how do I do THAT?” you might be asking me right about now. “I’m really not good at very much….So-and-so at my office doesn’t struggle with anything. That’s why s/he succeeds!” I’m sorry—did we begin a whine-fest here? Who’s bringing the cheese to go with the whine?

Everyone struggles with *something*, whether or not you know what that something is. If you struggle with your self-esteem, then you’re probably comparing yourself to other people and using a measuring stick that’s not even remotely accurate as you bash yourself and your own abilities.

The first thing you need to do is sit down with a piece of paper and start to write down the things at which you are genuinely good. I mean things like “I brush my teeth twice a day,” and “I’m organized.” For every skill or task that you OWN (and it doesn’t matter what it is), there is a way to put those abilities to good use and a way to make it your own personal success story.

Now that you’ve done that, think about things you *love* to do. Make another column on your paper and begin to list things you really enjoy and could do every day for the rest of your life—and not dread going to work. Draw lines between things in your two columns that might go together.

On my paper, I’d write “I’m good at organizing things” in one column and “I like to write.” They don’t seem to go together, but what if I began writing about getting organized? What if I started an email list with tips on how to get organized and wrote notes to encourage my subscribers? And then what if I started to talk to companies who would custom-make things for my subscribers to help keep them organized and began seeing profit from all of this?

Would you call that “success”? I would—and there’s a lady in North Carolina who’s done just that. Just ask any of the 250,000 “Flybabies” if the FLYlady is good for them! This woman has created a niche for herself and is success personified.

So are you beginning to see how some creative thinking and listing your skills and passions can come together for success? I hope you’re learning to think outside the box in this exercise, because that’s what it takes.

So the moral of this story is that you CAN do this. You CAN succeed at this and you DO have what it takes to be successful. Go work on your lists and remember to think outside the box!

That´s it for today my Friends!

Easy Action Plan! 13 Easy Steps To Personal Branding Domination…

Branding IS Extremly important! That is why most people like to buy certain brands over others (and mostly the branded stuff are way more expensive)..

1. Internet Marketing is like dating, attract the people who YOU want to work with, and not just the people who you can get or time wasters.. Make up in your mind who you really want to work with and be critical in who you spend your time with, your time IS valulable (even if you´re not an Internet Millionaire yet.. You still only have 24 hours per day like everybody else so invest them in people who deserve it and leave the rest)…

2. People doesn’t really care about how much money you have made, what you have not made, how long you been struggling for, or none of that. People ONLY care about your excitement about where you are going! Not where you have been.. This is a BIG problem in the Internet Marketing industry right now as many seems to believe that its about what you are bringing in now, rather then what you are becoming because of who you are and what you know..

3. You MUST shift your mindset, from just having some people there listening to you, to having the people who you actually WANT TO HAVE in your life and in your business.

4. If you think that the money WILL be a problem for people to pay you, you are basically putting that into their head and people WILL pick up on that and they will draw out at the last-minute on you again, again and again and again until you shift your mindset regarding what YOU are worth to them…

5. You are (in most cases) offering the exact same opportunity to these people! So do NOT think other people wont be able to do as good as you, maybe they will, you don’t know. Maybe they will BLOW YOU OUT OF THE WATER! You can only offer them it and yourself as help, the best possible way you know how to…

6. If you go into a store and the sales assistant in there are rude, or have an attitude of some kind you are probably just going to say, well im gonna come back later then.. You are probably not going to buy something or even come back! Try to have this in your mind when you are talking with your prospects…

7. Being CLEAR and know 100% who you are, with your business and what you want to do, with the people who joins YOU is all it is online and in most offline businesses too… You MUST know what you stand for and be able to convert them because of who you are, not only what you offer!

8. It’s not a biography that builds personal brand, it’s not only about your story. It is more about: what do YOU stand for? What is equivalent to you? and who are you as a leader?. Be unique and find out what you want to put out there to people and make it tied in to your business and what you are trying to accomplish (maybe it’s getting them to opt-in at your lead capture page).

9. You have to advertise what people want, and not what you think they would like to have!! You don’t want to make your story too heavy, or give the entire struggling story to people, the story must be written in the light of your FUTURE and also your now situation, for example: “I now have the time to enjoy my family” or “I now have the freedom to do what I want with my life, rather than being stuck in the familiar “rat race” and it feels good”). Then you let them know how it can help them too..

10. Start your story like this for example: “Here is my story, and here is how it relates to you and here is how it can help you too..” Write your story and then make it “Outlook” so you speak TO THEM and not about you… Also you never want to assume that you know who the people are and what they did or do, always say like “chances are, you are going through blah, blah like I was”.

11. Write 10 things which defines where you are in 1 year and look at your blog, your story and ask yourself, do these things relate to your 1 year plan? And ask yourself, what actions am I taking today that will make you that person that you are in 1 year? Am i following through according to my arrival plan? If not, what do i have to get better at doing now?

12. Good pictures REALLY matter. It will make your marketing life so much easier, it will give you higher conversions! It WILL change EVERYTHING about your brand and how people look at you and think of you..

13. Find a Phrase that is yours. For example: “To Your Success!”. Use the same colors all over your branding, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blog.. Use same phrases all over your brand so your brand is consistent. This is important, otherwise it doesn’t really have that “professional” branding effect that you want.

The Sales Funnel:
1. Simplify things for people. (don’t put tons of links for people to click, put only the link you really want them to click because it is smart regarding to your funnel.
2. Ask yourself,.. Ok if they click here what do i want them to do then? What is my end goal with people clicking links in your profile? Tie it together.
3. As a Marketer you are really only selling “the next step” for the prospect. So don’t drive people around in your funnel. Only to your NEXT STEP which is where they need to be.

4 ways to interact with people on web 2.0:
1. Give content
2. Asking people questions
3. Tell people what you are doing

3. Listening (and observe, and responding to what you see and hear)

Giving people a call-to-action:
1. Give people a Call To Action. (be the one to tell them they are gonna do it, whatever it is, help them make decisions).
2. Dont sell them IN the message, get them to where you want them just, and THEN sell them.

Following up with people:

5 Absolutely TOP TUNED Ways To Generate Your Own Burning Hot Leads!

Your business can’t survive more than a few weeks without a good supply of red hot leads. Leads are people who show an interest in what you sell. When you have a continuing, constantly replenished supply of great hot leads, you can make sales every week, every day, even every hour.

The problem comes with getting leads. Most people start out selling to friends and family. Those leads run out after a few weeks. That’s when most businesses start to look more difficult than the owner originally thought. That’s when most people give up.

I’m going to give you some of the BEST ways to get your own supply of great hot leads. These people will be wanting, asking for, and even begging for what you sell.

1. Buy leads from companies that specialize in them. This can be expensive. But if you’re short on time and are pretty certain your business will be making money soon, buying leads is a good way to go.

Some companies sell opt-in email addresses. These are proven lists of people who have asked to receive information on businesses like yours. Response can be good, but don’t expect to be bowled over. Work opt-in leads on a regular basis and you will see results.

2. Are you selling something other businesses want to buy? Rent or buy mailing lists from the Chamber of Commerce in your city. Send those businesses your sales letter. Good old fashioned printed letters with a first class stamp work very well these days. Postcards are cheaper and can work even better.

3. Put up a series of niche websites and pull in leads through SEO and PPC. If you’re new to this it may look I just said something in pig Latin.

What I mean is this: Put up simple one-page websites that can attract search engine attention. Also buy pay-per-click ads (Google AdWords is the most popular example) and use them to drive interested traffic to your sites. People can enter their name and email address to receive more information.

This method is the basis for many of the leads services on the Net. There is no reason why you can’t use this strategy for yourself.

4. Write one page articles and send them to email newsletters, websites, blogs, and other appropriate social media. The Internet needs a constant flow of content. You can supply that information by writing about something you know. You do not have to be a great writer, just write down a page of instructions.

Include your name, businesses name, what you sell, website, and contact info at the bottom of the article.

5. Send a press release to radio, TV, newspapers, magazines, search engines, news sites, and blogs. News and information media are in constant need of content. Your press release can be seen by many thousands of people who will go to your website or call your office and want more information.

Finally, there are new cutting-edge systems that attract interested people, inform them about your product, sell them on the idea of buying from you, and even complete the sale for you. This works particularly well for digital products and information.

Keep your supply of hot leads flowing. Your sales will build and your future will be bright.

How to Increase Web Traffic? 4 Tips to Increasing Web Traffic

Why did you start your small business? Most entrepreneurs express several reasons for creating a small- or home-based business. Maybe you want to supplement your income and you have an eye on quitting your day job. Or maybe you’ve already accomplished that and are looking to take your business to new heights.

A lot of entrepreneurs I know had the motivation to become self- employed simply because they hated fighting traffic: Traffic jams on the way to work, traffic jams in the elevator at the office, traffic jams at the coffee machine during break, and traffic jams on the way home. Everywhere they went, it seemed like the rat race was all about traffic jams.

Once you’ve left that “rat race” you end up with a completely different approach to traffic: You crave it! But we’re not talking about vehicular traffic. Instead, we’re talking about website traffic.

For many entrepreneurs — especially ones who primarily do business online — the insatiable need for traffic drives nearly every decision: “How can I enhance search engine optimization?” becomes the mantra of traffic-hungry entrepreneurs. The unfortunate temptation for some website owners is to exchange their credibility, professionalism, and salesmanship for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Ultimately, you want to bring people to your site; that’s a goal of any business. But in order to do that, some entrepreneurs resort to tricks rather than sound marketing techniques to accomplish this goal. One trick is to write web copy and run it through a site like and check the keyword percentage. Once they know the keyword percentage, they insert keywords here and there in an effort to reach the hallowed “4% to 5% window” that most people feel is the sweet spot for SEO.

Unfortunately, the result is web copy that is far from credible and obviously written to be read and ranked by a robot rather than a human being. So what can you do to help you generate traffic while still looking good for the search engines? Here are 4 recommendations to help guide your decision-making.

Pay Per Click

One of the best things you can do is create a Pay Per Click (PPC) account on Google or Yahoo. If you’re avoiding PPC because you’ve been burned by it or because you’re afraid of the expense, consider this:You’re spending money anyway (in advertising) but PPC generally drives warm leads to your business instead of browsers. If you put a dollar value on your time, how much would you have already spent just to “tweak” the keyword percentage on your site? You have control over all kinds of factors with Google AdWords to help you control your expenses. (In fact, you should cap the amount you spend per month while you’re just getting started). And, most importantly, you can tweak your advertisement periodically to see what pulls better.

Even though you just read my scathing criticism of keyword usage in a previous paragraph, let me clarify that keywords are important to have on your site. Here’s one smart way to use them.If you haven’t done this lately, go and see what your competitors are doing on their site for keywords. Google your keyword and pick the top 5 sites. Check out their site’s source code to discover what keywords they are using in their meta tags and headers.

Choose the top keywords and use those in your meta tags and headers. Remember that the robots that read and rank your site read from the top left to the bottom right, so put your keywords on both places. (The “keyword” currently read by robots on the bottom right of most websites is “copyright”!).

Are there other keyword strategies? Yes. And you should make sure that your keywords are used in your text. But remember that although robots rank your site, it’s your human visitors who are going to give you money for your product. So make sure you’re ultimately writing for them!

Links can be a good solution, but many small business websites use link strategies poorly. We could spend an entire article talking about link strategies (and we will) but right now, you should know this: If you are going to get someone to link to you, make sure that they have a page rank that is higher than you and that their subject matter is related to you in some way. The page rank is important for the search engines to drive you higher but the similarity that you may have with the other site will help you get customers!

Blogs are powerful tools and can help you generate links and content. Blogs are just starting to come into their own as a corporate tool and in many cases, corporate blogs are still uncharted territory. Create an offsite blog but resist the temptation to post one or two highly self-promotional posts and a link. Again, your blog might help you get higher results in a search… but it won’t help you convince your customers to buy from you!Instead, decide on the scope of your blog and how regularly you’re going to post and try to determine a potential value that a regular blog can have for your customers. A useable blog will create more links for you (as people link to your blog and your site) and it will create more sales!

These are just a few strategies you can use to help increase your site’s presence on the Internet without sacrificing the quality and salesmanship you need to get people to buy from you! There are many more strategies out there and we’ll look at them in future articles. Stay tuned!
